We are pleased to offer staging for weddings and events across all of Essex, London and Hertfordshire.Our stages are available in any size and for indoor use we recommend them at 1ft or 300mm high. This is the finished height and is just a small step up onto the stage. For weddings this gives you a fantastic platform for your top table or your ceremony. See the picture on the left of a 7M x 3M stage at 1ft high. This stage was provided with white carpet and white skirt valance. It was later decorated by the bride and grooms wedding decoration company. This was installed into Hylands House, Chelmsford.
If you have your own wedding planner or decoration company we are able to provide just a plain stage for them to finish. The picture on the right shows a 6M x 4M stage which was supplied plain with no carpet or skirting. The decoration company later finished the stage with carpet, skirting, chairs and backdrops for this wedding. This stage was delivered and setup at Boreham House, Chelmsford.
Our stage are also great for corporate events. They can be used for presentations, training, awards ceremonies and other events. Shown on the left at Wivenhoe House, Colchester is a 5M x 2M stage complete with our Robe PicklePATT designer lights. We can supply stages with sound, lighting and audio visual equipment.

We’re gearing up for what promises to be another hugely successful Halloween period. Last year see us send out a record number of UV cannons and products for parties and events across Essex and Hertfordshire. This year in classic Spotlight Sound style we have raised the bar again, taking on stock of the latest LED UV lights. These new units represent the very latest in UV party tech. They are lighter, brighter and cold making them extremely safe. They are suitable for house parties as well as large venues. You will see a number of our UV products in pubs and clubs across the festive period.

More blue cases arrive from our friends at ABS Cases. We have been using ABS for all of our cases since 2009 due to there superb build quality and durability. With recent investments into our audio equipment we required new rack cases for our Sennheiser radio microphones, new brief cases for the handhelds and beltpack transmitters. Our stages work hard throughout the year at various indoor and outdoor events, across Essex and London. Mostly catering for weddings and corporate events. However we were very pleased to support Macmillan with there 10K walk in Regents Park, London this year. We provided the power, stage and sound system for the day. A 4x2M stage was deployed for the warm up and welcome speech for the 700 strong crowd eager to start there charity run.
Stage Hire Essex
Our staging comes in various shapes and sizes and is available at any height you request. All indoor stages are neatly finished with black serge cloth skirting. We are also able to cover our stages in any custom colour upon request. Stage hire is popular for weddings as the top table. At 1ft high this adds presence to the top table in a wedding venue. Often working at Hylands House, Chelmsford we have provided staging for top tables as well as bands for the day. Our staging is often requested for bands, DJs and live acts at an event to allow the audience to see. We recommend a stage height of 2ft for this to allow everyone to see clearly.
Stage Hire London
We also travel from Essex into London to supply our stages at venues. Used for various performances and corporate events, unlike many stages we are able to install these upstairs. There are no restrictions to the location of the stage.
I haven’t been able to post on here since November due to the work we have taken on. Over the Christmas period we carried out a lot of service work to venues including Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants. We also provided a record number of snow machines to parties, events and weddings during the festive period. We worked with a number of local businesses to supply there Christmas parties as well as venues to get set for New Years.
We are still dealing with a number of call outs and service calls to venues across the county through January and February whilst providing equipment to events. We have updated our inventory with more cable, microphones, amplifiers and other rental kit to make your event is successful.

With a busy Halloween season now behind us I can catch up with the blog. And what a Halloween stint it was! Lots of UV lighting out on hire to various venues and private parties across Chelmsford and the whole of Essex. We are main suppliers to many local nightclubs providing them with lighting for their seasonal parties. We also provided low fog machines to give a spooky look and feel to the club.
Our UV cannons can be hired from just £20 + VAT per day to create the glow in the dark effect. Not just for Halloween our UV lights are used throughout the year for paint parties also. Get in touch to find out more about UV lighting hire for your event.
This year saw us accompany The Renegade Showman scare maze to 2 of East Anglia’s greatest festivals. V Festival at Hylands House, Essex with a capacity of 90,000 was held on 15th – 18th September, and Sundown Festival, Norfolk which sees around 40,000 people across the last weekend in August.
We supplied the full power, sound, lighting and effects system for inside the scare maze. The Renegade Showman 4D scare featuring full effects system with live actors.
The Scare Maze covers over 200sqm of space which will take around 10 minutes to complete. Guests will walk through various areas of the maze greeted by the actors and effects.
Our expertise in full event production enabled us to design a system which can travel with the attraction to any event. The show features at some of the countries top festivals and is also available for hire at other events.
