Throughout May we were pleased to light up some high profile landmarks in our home city of Chelmsford. To show our support for all the key workers, we lit up the CloudFM Essex Cricket Ground, Hylands House at Hylands Estate and Chelmsford Cathedral.
Since the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak hit the UK, we have seen a major change in the way we live and work. We wanted to show our support and appreciation for all the carers, nurses and key workers that are keeping the country running.
For Friday 8th May 2020 we were pleased to show off Hylands Estate in red, white and blue to show our support for VE day. It marked 75 years since the guns fell silent at the end of the war in Europe The 75th anniversary provided our nation, and our friends around the world, with an opportunity to reflect on the enormous sacrifice, courage and determination of people from all walks of life who saw us through this dark and terrifying period.
For all of the outdoor lighting work we used our stock of Studie Due MP-COLOR48s. Just six lights were used at the Chelmsford Cathedral to light a huge space. The LEDs colours are red, green, blue and white and are incredibly efficient. They are able to produce fantastic deep and rich colours that are incredibly bright for there size.
