We hire projectors sized for a wide range of events — from compact units for boardroom presentations through to bright 4K projectors for daylight outdoor work. Our stock is all Panasonic, chosen because the picture quality is consistent and the units are reliable across long event days.
Although our warehouse is in Chelmsford, Essex, we supply projector hire UK-wide. Most of our work is across Essex, London, Hertfordshire, Kent, and Suffolk, but we travel further regularly for larger events. Delivery, install, and dry hire are all available.
Our Projector Stock — Panasonic HD & 4K
We work with Panasonic across our projector hire stock. Panasonic projectors are the standard choice for event and broadcast work because the colour rendering is accurate, the throw distances are flexible, and the lamps and SOLID-STATE light sources hold up under sustained use.
Our stock covers three main brightness brackets:
3,000–4,000 Lumens (Compact HD)
Small to mid-size indoor events with controlled lighting. Boardroom presentations, classroom training, mid-size church services, small panel discussions. These projectors are compact and quick to set up, with HDMI inputs and standard throw lenses.
5,000–6,500 Lumens (Standard HD or 4K)
Mid-size events with some ambient light. Weddings, mid-size conferences, school assemblies, charity galas. This is the most common rental bracket — bright enough to handle daylight bleed through windows, and crisp enough for video content as well as static slides.
8,000–10,000 Lumens (High-Brightness 4K)
Large indoor events, daylight outdoor projection, large-screen content. Festival visuals, large hall projection, daytime outdoor events. The 4K resolution holds detail on large screens (over 4m wide), and the brightness handles ambient light that would wash out a lower-spec projector.
How Many Lumens Do I Need?
Projector brightness is measured in lumens. The right brightness depends on three factors: how much ambient light is in the venue, how big your screen is, and how far the projector is from the screen. As practical guidance:
- Dark room, small screen (under 3m wide): 3,000–4,000 lumens is usually enough
- Mixed lighting, mid-size screen (3–5m wide): 5,000–6,500 lumens
- Bright room or daylight, large screen (5m+): 7,000–10,000 lumens
- Daylight outdoor projection: typically not viable — an LED video wall is usually a better choice
If you’re not sure, send us your venue details and we’ll spec the right brightness. Over-speccing wastes money; under-speccing means a washed-out picture. We’d rather get it right than upsell you.

Wedding Projector Hire
Weddings usually use projectors for ceremony visuals, reception slideshows, video tributes, and live streaming to remote guests. We typically supply a 5,000–6,500 lumen projector with a fast-fold or tripod screen depending on the venue. Setup is quick and we coordinate with the venue’s AV or your own crew.
Conference Projector Hire
Conferences need bright, sharp projection for slide content, video playback, and live camera feeds. We supply projectors as part of full conference AV packages — projector, screen, vision mixing, presenter feeds, and the supporting cabling. For larger conferences, we’d typically recommend dual-projector setups with seamless switching.

Outdoor projection is brightness-critical. For evening events, 8,000–10,000 lumen 4K projectors can give a viable picture; for daytime outdoor work, an LED video wall is almost always a better choice. We’ll advise honestly on which is right for your event.

- Front-projection screens — the standard choice for most events
