Essex Cricket 2023
he 2023 season, surpassing previous Essex campaigns, holds a special place in our memory. Essex made a comeback to the Vitality Blast Finals Day after four years. Their involvement in the most-watched final in over a decade was a remarkable achievement. The LV= Insurance County Championship witnessed an intense title race that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The success extended beyond the Men's First XI, with Essex securing the Women's London Championship for the first time. Members of this triumphant team also contributed to further victories, with the Eagles' U18 Women securing the National County T20 cup.
Additionally, the Falcons Ability team made us proud by reaching the final of the D40 Pursuit competition.

The End of Season Gala Dinner was a night of glamour and recognition. Hosted by Graham Gooch, Simon Ward and BBC Essex's Victoria Polley. Essex Cricket celebrated the achievements of its players and staff during the 2023 season. The award winners included:

For the fourth consecutive year, Essex Cricket partnered with Spotlight Sound to create a truly unforgettable End of Season Gala Dinner. Having collaborated with Essex Cricket on numerous events, this year-end celebration always holds a special place in our calendar. Our responsibilities encompassed comprehensive technical production, covering sound, lighting, and video.
In the sound department, we crafted a complete audio solution, equipping presenters and Q&A sessions with microphones and installing a sound system perfectly tailored for Braxted Park.
Our lighting experts set the stage aglow with dazzling effects, adding an extra layer of excitement to the winner announcements.
To ensure everyone in the room had a clear view of the show, its content, and the sponsors, we strategically placed large screens throughout the venue.
Through close collaboration with the Essex Cricket team, we once again delivered a spectacular event that will be etched in the memories of all in attendance.
